I've been blown away by this little treasure. I've kept a gym membership for several years just to use their sauna. The traditional Finnish sauna broke at my local gym and it has taken months for them to repair it. I decided to look into a personal sauna as it would be more convenient and I could ditch the gym fees. After several weeks of research I decided on to take a leap of faith and try the Relax Sauna. Not cheap by any means, but boy howdy it works better than the big sauna at the gym. I'm drenched in 10 minutes and it's all I can do to make it 20-25 minutes. I keep track of the temperature and if I let the sauna pre-heat for 10 minutes, when I get in the temp drops to the high 150's and then slowly works its way back up to 160-170+ over about 15 minutes. Final temperature depends on the surrounding room temp. If the room is in the mid 60's to low 70's then the sauna reaches 160+ If the room temp is is 75 or higher then the sauna temp reaches 165-170+. Unlike a traditional sauna, the air is kept moving by small fans in the heaters. This means that the temperature is consistent from feet to shoulders, where a traditional sauna reaches its max temp only at ceiling level. Needless to say I'm thrilled to no longer have to share the gym sauna with a dozen people, often with music blaring at ear splitting levels.
