HexTex™ Halo
Better nights. American made.
Eight hours at the pillow, every night. The HexTex™ Halo slides inside any pillowcase and sits right where your head and neck rest — soft organic cotton with a graphene weave that works with the far-infrared warmth your body already gives off. Nothing to plug in, nothing to charge, and your pillow feels exactly the same.
Made in the USA

Made in the USA
American farms. American mills. American hands.
Most graphene apparel comes out of overseas supply chains. HexTex™ doesn’t. The cotton is grown in Georgia. The graphene goes in on the loom in North Carolina. Every Halo is cut and sewn in Pennsylvania — by American workers, in American factories.
The physics
Heads up: you’re radiating.
Every warm body radiates. Your skin gives off thermal energy all day and all night, peaking near 9.4 microns — squarely in the far infrared. You can’t see it, but you feel it any time you stand close to someone. Every fabric you sleep on trades some of that energy back and forth with you. HexTex™ adds something ordinary bedding doesn’t have: a woven network of graphene, a carbon material thermal engineers reach for when they want to manage heat.
Physics has a tidy rule here: a surface that absorbs far infrared well also re-radiates it well. Sitting close to your skin, the graphene weave takes in part of the warmth you give off and sends part of it back your way. No heater, no current, no added heat — just more of your own warmth kept close.
Why we built it
Better days start with better brainwaves.
Your brain runs on rhythms. Alpha waves (8–12 Hz) take over when you’re awake but at ease — eyes closed, mind quiet, the state that stress crowds out. Theta waves (4–8 Hz) rise as you drift from wakefulness toward sleep. Together they’re the brain’s downshift: the move from on to off.
They’re also the signature of stillness. Since the first EEG studies of yogis and Zen monks in the 1960s, researchers have found the same pattern again and again in people who meditate: more alpha as the mind settles, more theta as attention turns inward. It’s the state practitioners spend years learning to reach on purpose.
In 2022, a team at Zhejiang University put graphene against the back of the neck and watched on EEG. Alpha waves appeared 2.3× more often and lasted 2.9× longer. Theta waves appeared 3.0× more often and lasted 4.1× longer. The researchers attributed it to graphene’s far-infrared output lining up with the band human skin absorbs best.
Their version needed a power cord and 50 °C of heat. We wanted to know what graphene could do with no cord at all — running only on the warmth your body already gives off. That’s HexTex™.
Study used a powered graphene film heater, not HexTex™.
For athletes
Graphene, put to the performance test.
The closest published study to HexTex™ tested the same idea we built on: passive graphene fiber — no power, no heating element. In a 2025 double-blind trial in Sports Medicine – Open, active young men ran a treadmill test to exhaustion twice: once in graphene-fiber compression gear, once in identical gear without the graphene. Neither the runners nor the researchers knew which was which.
In the graphene gear, they went longer, and their heart rates ran lower at the same workload.
Same principle as HexTex™: graphene in the fiber, your body as the only source. Their fabric was a graphene-nylon compression knit. Ours is graphene woven into American cotton, built for the eight hours you spend off your feet.
15 participants. Study used graphene compression garments, not HexTex™.
How it works
Slip it in. Sleep on it.
The Halo fits inside the pillowcase you already own. Both faces are soft enough to rest against — the organic cotton side is a touch plusher, so most people turn it toward their cheek. That’s the whole setup.
Your pillow is the one surface your head and neck come back to all night, every night — more contact time than almost anything else you own. And because there’s no wiring, no current, and no electronics, the Halo is EMF-free by design: no electric or magnetic field at your pillow, no wireless signal, nothing to interfere with your phone, sleep tracker, or bedside devices.
Hot sleepers, read this
Warm science. Cool bed.
Most people sleep best in a cool room, and the last thing a hot sleeper wants is another warming gadget. HexTex™ isn’t one. It’s a single thin layer of cotton inside your pillowcase — not a heated pad, not a pillow topper — and it adds no heat of its own. Nothing in it pushes against your body’s normal overnight cool-down.
Keeping a little more of your own warmth close is a subtle effect — most people don’t feel it as heat at all. In early at-home use, only one tester mentioned sleeping any warmer.
From early testers
Early nights.
“Thank you for sending a sample and creating this product. … I’ve been really impressed with the effects, especially the overall calm and clarity. They are subtle, but they are there. I sleep with it under my pillow case and if I need a nap, I bring my pillow to the couch and I’m dozing off in no time.”
“I noticed that I fell asleep right away and when I did get up 7 hours later, I felt great! Energized and ready for that day. Normally I would wake up a couple of times during the night, but since using HexTex Halo I am experiencing deep peaceful sleep!!”
Personal experiences shared by early testers, not clinical results.
The fabric
Woven in. Not sprayed on.
Many “graphene” textiles are ordinary fabric with a coating or print on top. HexTex™ is different at the loom: the graphene goes in as part of the weave itself. Nothing printed, nothing coated, nothing to flake off in the wash.
- Organic cotton with graphene woven into the weave itself
- ~3 mm graphene stripe spacing vs. the ~4 mm industry standard
- Tight, low-lint weave built to hold its fibers
- Machine washable — soft on both sides, no wrong way to use it
- EMF-free — no wiring, no current, no electronics
- Grown in Georgia · woven in North Carolina · sewn in Pennsylvania
- Construction
- Fabric weight
- Air porosity
- Water resistance
- Static decay
No. It’s woven into the fabric on the loom in North Carolina — not sprayed, not printed, not a coating, not a loose powder. There’s no surface treatment to rub off on your skin or your sheets.
HexTex™ is a tight, low-lint weave built to hold its fibers, and the graphene is part of that weave — not a layer sitting on top.
It’s a cotton fabric: sleep warm, sweat on it, wash it, repeat. The organic cotton face is the side most people keep against their skin.
None from the product. No wiring, no battery, no chip, no wireless. The only energy involved is the infrared warmth your body gives off anyway.

Good to know: HexTex™ is bedding, not a heating device. Keep it out of cribs and away from infants.
HexTex™ is a graphene textile designed for comfort and warmth, not a medical device. It contains no heating element and does not add heat. Published research on graphene far infrared describes other products used under different conditions and is not clinical evidence for HexTex™. HexTex™ is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
