Reality: This language is designed to scare you into thinking EMFs are a serious problem needing extreme and expensive measures to control.   • Operating Costs: Listed as low compared to medium costs for a far infrared sauna. This is a total fabrication not based on real-time energy and replacement costs.
  • Heating Elements: They describe their heating element as an incandescent light panel (accurate, very low tech). They list far infrared as ceramic or carbon panel FIR emitters. While true for most FIR saunas, Relax uses a patented semiconductor to generate far infrared, a step far beyond other FIR saunas and far beyond red-light bulbs.
  • Direct vs. Surface Heating: They list their unit as "heats the body directly and deeply," versus far infrared that "heats only the surface layers of the body." This is untrue and the reverse of facts.
