I was the original pioneer in far infrared light, over 25 years ago. I have stayed consistent with my pro-health message, building North America's largest far infrared health company. It has been tough, because for years, I watched the lack of interest scientists had in far infrared versus red light or near infrared. NASA was sending off 'flares' hyping the promise of the FIR band of light they originally called "stimulating ray," but few paid attention. Incredible health outcomes using far infrared began to show up all over Asia, still not many raised an eyebrow.
Then the tipping point happened. A wild acceleration of patent applications in far infrared, fueled by AI discovering and fabricating elements of FIR no one ever imagined. From hexagonal lattice designed nano graphene thread for clothing to cosmeceuticals like emissive mineral make-up that recycles 85% of a user's waste heat into far infrared which is redirected back into the skin for healing - the consumer product potential is enormous.
 
As a result, today, far infrared is fast becoming a buzz word in science-oriented communities which will obviously lead to far greater mass market consumer awareness. It is a long overdue light renaissance! And I am excited to bring everyone the message of the specific value that all three bands of light have - red light, near infrared and far infrared.  
It is too big a project for one person. Since much of this enormous change is being born from AI exploring aspects of resonance we never thought of, I decided to enlist the help of a good friend and colleague Ariel Miller a degreed and highly accredited AI professional. She is in the process of putting together some amazing education, research and protocol driven tools that are both patient and provider facing. Shortly, any question that a medical professional, including you, has will be answered with the specific accuracy and directive value needed. Free to use. Similarly, patients will be able learn about these very same things through a second information channel. It goes far deeper than this but you get the idea. Democratizing and freeing information for all.  
 
Before getting into some initial information that I knew you would be interested in, here is a little about our chief tech person.
Ariel Calista Miller is a scientist, author, and entrepreneur whose work spans physics, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. She is the author of Infrared Illuminated: A User’s Guide to the Science of Far Infrared Energy and a second bestselling text on Predictive Analytics and Neural Network Modeling, a book that explores the practical use of AI in data-driven decision making. She is currently completing PhD graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Data Sciences at the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, where her research focuses on applied neural network modeling and predictive systems. She is also developing a full curriculum on light therapy for Great Learning University curriculums, designed to bring advanced photomedicine into academic and clinical education.

Her companies have pioneered a patent in storing far infrared (FIR) energy in crystalline matrices, with multiple additional patents pending in hexagonal lattice nano graphene-based fabrics, infrared emissive cosmeceuticals, and infrared emissive mineral creams and pain sticks. These technologies harness the physics of emissive minerals to create new categories of textiles, skincare, and therapeutic tools.

In biotechnology, Ariel has led ventures in creating environmentally sustainable, medically rare terpenes through patented yeast strains. She was among the first to engineer and commercialize hemp-derived Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC products, and is now pioneering legal, bioidentical psychedelics that offer clinicians true pharmacological precision for therapeutic use.

Across all of her scientific endeavors, Ariel’s vision is consistent: to integrate physics, AI, and biotechnology into practical innovations that improve human health, performance, and environmental sustainability.
I appreciate the thoughtful work you (and many others) do comparing sauna types. It is so important that everyone learn the incredible benefits of red light, near infrared and far infrared.
 
One consistent gap, however, is the lack of information being circulated on the wavelength that is driving the strongest health effects. That wavelength is far infrared (FIR) and it should be distinguished clearly from other heat/light sources in any evidence-based discussion.
