Greg Ortman, PhD, PGA, is a 40+ year golf expert, educator, coach and author. Greg created the the 5-H Golf learning Method by combining both his expert golf instructional experience with his Holistic Health doctoral degree. This method is not physical or mental training. This is an intentional-attention golf learning technique which focuses on WHY changes to the "holistic" mind-body networking must be learned from the the inside-out. This method works by first 'leading out" ineffective, imbedded patterns (routines) and then replacing them with more effective, efficient holistic mind-body networks (rituals). Greg uses a common-sense "See it" - "Feel it" - Learn it" - "Do it" approach by integrating video lessons with classic holistic modalities centered on the golfer's learning style, Known to his students as the Holistic Golfologist, Greg, in the first book of a trilogy, GOLFOLOGY, discusses the Common Sense versus Golf Sense riddle during his seminars where he offers several interesting paradigm-shifting solutions. He is located in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania where he teaches, lectures, and coaches . Greg's second book in his GOLFOLOGY Trilogy (Holistic Golfology) is due to published by winter 2020.
